Redesigning an international law firm’s website and content management system to facilitate a more efficient way to locate legal resources
Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP (“MMM”) is a full-service commercial law firm with national and international reach. Their end-goal is to provide exceptional value for each client and help them meet their legal and business objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Their clientele expects their lawyers to have a depth of knowledge and rely on being able to see a lawyer’s contributions whether that is through news articles about specific law issues, publications, or speaking engagements.
Lawyers depend on having a platform to showcase their writings. The more people who see their articles, the more it will help build their reputation, establish them as an expert, boost their credibility in their field, and grow their network - all to help build their practice and bring in business.
In alignment with their end-goal, MMM was seeking a redesign of their website and update of their content management system to improve the discovery of effective and comprehensive legal resources for their clients.
My responsibilities for the MMM website redesign included information architecture, experience strategy, and user interface design.
I was responsible for gathering user research and feedback to build the foundation of the website redesign.
I led the UX work, producing deliverables with two full-stack developers, and presenting these to the client. I had the opportunity to collaborate with MMM’s marketing team to execute this project.
